Look at the bright side
Practically every night I question myself, "how much longer will it take me before I become that successful person that I dream about someday becoming." Ever since I was a little boy I always pictured myself being this successful man in the future. Becoming this person who won't ever have to worry about being at loss of money or having to rely on others for financial assistance like my parents did. I sit here and struggle my best to try to get a job and save every cent just to have enough money to afford buying me food at school but it all makes me feel like it's the end of the world. I feel so hopeless that I even hold onto the unbelievable possibility of me one day having the winning lottery ticket and then no longer would I have to worry about what I may and can't afford. Although it seems impossible, I hold onto my faith and the thought that "there's always something better coming around the corner" and that good things happen to those who'll wait. Although my life seems as if it can only become more complicated, I do acknowledge that there's people out there who may find themselves in worse situations than myself so who am I to complain right? If there's something that we both have in common though it's that we both may live under the same pressure and stress. At times I hate all these struggles that I go through because they make every day seem impossible to bear with. Then I also think about how my future will reflect on my perseverance of today and how far these "little" challenges of today will get me. That's what keeps me going! They say in order to make it over the mountain, first you have to reach the top so that's where I'm striving to get to. The thought alone of me someday obtaining that PA degree puts me at ease because only then will I become complacent with my financial situation and from then on the only thing that will worry me would be finding a way to help those whom are still struggling with their living circumstances.
